Ok, so you can flame me if you like, but aside from beer, I love the sparkling water. This was from six years in Germany, where Gerosteiner was cheap cheap and the absolute best water I had ever tasted.
Fast forward to today, and the best value is the Perrier water from costco in the cases of 500 ml PET plastic green bottles. I will drink a case a week, and got to thinking, what is the difference between these and the PET plastic beer bottles that you can buy from any number of homebrew supply stores?
The Perrier bottles are tripple layer, PET, green, and of course hold the pressure of carbonation.
Has anyone used these for bottling, and if so, how did they come out?
If not, what would be the reasons not to?
Thanks,
John
