Hey people i'm about to order my kegerator kit and there is an option for upgrading to pearlick faucets from standard chrome faucets, is this worth it? What advantages would I have if any?

cheers

I went with perlicks right off the bat. I was gonna buy the cheaper ones and I am glad my wife was with me, She said " THAT'S STUPID, YOU'RE SPENDING ALL THIS MONEY ON THAT THING (my kegerator) AND NOW YOU'RE GONNA PUT ON CHEAPO TAPS...GET THE GOOD ONES SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO BUY EM AGAIN IN A FEW MONTHS"I am glad she was with me.

after years of dealing with stuck faucets I geared up and got a perlick... well worth it.

Yes very much worth it. I bought a Perlick right away and no sticking problems, even going weeks in between usage.

Thanks for the input guys, I think based on that i'll be going with the perlick taps straight off the bat.

cheers

I just switched from standard to perlicks. I wish i started with the Perlicks, because if you dont get them now you will later. They are so much better and never stick like the standard ones do.
