O.k. HB Friends here's what I got. I was talking to a co-worker about beer. He started telling me about a beer pearl quit making back in the mid to late 70's called Pearl Cream Ale. He said it came in a little green bottle. So me being the curious home brewer and all around beer fan. I started digging for a clone on the Internet. Guess what... I can't find a clone. So if anyone on here can recall this classic beer or even have a shot of a clone please share. If I can find a clone I want to be able to give him a case for the holidays.

Did you find the clone? I would like some for myself. I remember the taste. I still have an unopened 6 pack of those original Pearl Cream Ale 7 oz bottles. They were so smooth and small, you had to be careful not to drink too many.

Not a clone, but traditionally a cream ale is 80% base male (generic 6-row or 2-row) and 20% flaked corn. Ferment with a neutral ale yeast (US-05, BRY-97) and hop same as you would a lager. That should be a good starting point at least.
