I made an imperial stout with PB2. But since it's a big imperial stout, it needed to age for many months. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way that PB2 flavors fade out over time. What other choices do I have to retain the peanut butter flavor? I've seen those PB liquids/oils in small bottles. Are they any good? Do they taste like real peanut butter?

Never used it, but am interested in any information that gets posted.

I used the extract liquid stuff (Brewers best maybe?). It's way over powering to me. I split a batch of chocolate porter (2.5x2) and put a little less than half of recommended on the package. The bottle was good for 4-5 gallons. I would try it again but only use a little less than 1/4 of the bottle. You can always add more.

The original was very tasty but I'm still, slowly working my way through the peanut butter keg. Too much makes it harsh and bitter. It definitely tastes like peanut butter though.

Hey, no accounting for tastes, but peanut butter flavored beer sounds awful to me. Really no offense, but it makes me think of the Saturday Night Live "commercial" for Cookie Dough Sport Drink. Don't flame me, I'm really not judging.
