I used a simple Bisquick recipe with fresh peaches. After making some wings on the Egg at 300° F, I kept the temperature steady and baked the cobbler for about an hour.

I made peach cobbler in a dutch oven for dessert on the 4th. It's been a couple years since I've done any dutch oven cooking, forgot how tasty and easy it is. (I was lazy and didn't use fresh peaches though, shame on me)

For a super duper simple Cobbler, put the fruit in the bottom of a cake pan, then cut some butter on top of that in little "slices" (like you do cheese slices for a grilled cheese), the put one of those betty crocker vanilla cake mixes sprinkled over the top, then more butter. It comes out delicious. Not so doughy and maybe even a crumble more than cobbler, but awesome.

yum.
I have sh*t ton of Nectarines ( SWMBO loves them).... and no green Egg. I will have to improvise with either the Weber of Doom. or the BI-Mart Smoker of Disgrace:)

I have fond memories of peach cobbler in a dutch oven. It was one of my favorite things to win Boy scout cooking competitions.

If the Universe allows me to sell the condo and move to a house back home... the second major purchase would be a BGE. I have desired one for a very long time.
