Hello, I have a question about safety and cleaning.

These pictures are from a Pbw soak overnight which lead to the metal shedding this white flaky stuff. Not sure of the metal type. Can i reuse the plastic fermentation buckets (2) that it came in contact with or is this toxic and they should be trashed?

That's just dried PBW that wasn't rinsed off.

Yea it's just the powdered brewery wash. Rinse well and it'll be fine.

It looks like your bucket just overflowed and there was some PBW that was not all the way mixed in with the water and it dried to the metal handle. No worries. :mug:
