I have nothing fermenting and only about a 6er of home brew remaining so I have got to brew something this weekend. I am looking to create a house pale ale and I like beers that have some maltiness to them. I have 6 lb of Vienna, 1 oz Cascade, and 1 oz Amarillo that I need to use up. This is the recipe I put together:

American Pale Ale
46 IBU
OG 1.053
FG 1.008
ABV 5.9%

Safale US-05

6 lb Vienna
5 lb 2 row
8 oz Crystal 60
8 oz Carapils

.5 oz Magnum 60 mins
.5 oz Magnum 20 mins
.5 oz Cascade 10 mins
.5 oz Cascade 5 mins
1 oz Amarillo dry hop 7 days

Efficiency 65%

The last pale ale I brewed I mashed around 154 and really liked the malty sweetness I got from it so I'm considering doing that and possibly going with S-04 to finish a little higher.

I would probably omit the carapils, it's not needed with the crystal in there IMO.
on the hops, I would use the oz (+/- to get desired IBU) of Magnum @ 60 & maybe do a hopstand with the Cascade & Amarillo.

Will you be able to get the final gravity down to 1.008 with a mash temp of 154?

Those temps sound tasty with Vienna to get you some good malty-ness but I bet your FG will be a bit higher. Looks really good. I like those malty pale ales!
