I brewed a pale ale with the second running of a barley wine. mouthfeel and body are spot on but it's well.... bland. I know I could dry hop, any ideas... If I was a bud light drinker this would be a perfect introductiont o real beer but im not so.... any ideas to add some flavor to this thing......3.5%abv

toss some anise in there. that'll kick it up a notch.

in addition to a heavy dry hop, you could try carbing with dark brown sugar or use regular carbing sugar with a little mollases added at bottling

Couple of things;
Unless you like Anise, I'd be very careful using it.
You could add a little Malto Dextrine to the keg to add mouth feel. Maybe a 1/2 a pound or so.
You could also make a tea out of some specialty malts, boil it and then add it to the keg. My concern here would be that your adding more water, so keep it in small amounts.
Dry hopping will also help with aroma, but won't help the body at all.
Good luck,
Bull
