I tried to oxygenating my wort using a 2 micron stone, an inline filter, and a air pump for a fish tank. it started to work for a minute then stopped. I'm assuming that the air pump wasn't powerful enough. I was wondering can I use an air compressor with the regulator turned down low. Would the air be clean enough?
Thanks

There is no way I would aerate using any compressor I have ever owned. Between moisture and oil.....nope.

It'd be cheaper to buy a $15 aquarium pump instead of the inline filters necessary to cleanup compressor air.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking. That's why I didn't try it. Thanks for the input.
