My walmart appears to have stopped carrying the sun oxy (the bastards!), but I got 3 tubs when they were still on the shelf. Set for a while. Scoop them up if you see them boys and girls.

It's out of stock from time to time at the store near me. But I'll stock up next time I see it, just in case they decide to phase it out.

Edit: I just searched for it online and spotted this--no longer available online. Maybe the same will happen in-store.

I´ve been using oxyclean for a year and haven´t had any problems yet, I buy the unscented one it cost around 6$ for 3 pounds of it. When I want to remove labels I let them soak about 20 min in warm-hot water, and peel them off, then I use a metal scrub(for steel pots) for the stubborn ones and it works like a charm.

pro tip. buy your own metal scrub thing don´t use SWMBO´s one. ;)

Interesting. Much more expensive than the Sun cleaner. Even the OxiClean brand is cheaper.

All oxi laundry booster

This is on sale for 1.99 each at my local shop rite nj

Its made by sun. Picked up 2 hoping it's equivalent. Suns site isn't working from my phone. Hoping I can get msds when I get home and I have access to my computer.

So after paying 11 bucks for a quarter pound of PBW, I was thinking that I would become an oxyclean guy. Thing is after watching the crazy super Starsan guy on the facemask thread struggle with the oxyclean residue, I am having second thoughts? Just don't soak stuff overnight with oxyclean?

I have only read the last page of this thread so far but I've been using oxyclean in one brand or another since I can remember. I have no issues with residue. Hot water rinse and it's gone. I love the stuff.
Wallyworld in Canada carries Great Value brand oxyclean for a good price. I use that sh@t on everything!

I soak my glass carboys overnight (sometimes longer) with no issue, and I have decently hard water. Actually, my tap water is sh!t. I won't even drink it. Lol!

Oxyclean Free is great! I've never had a residue that I couldn't rinse off. Only for glass though. I wash my stainless with vinegar and a yellow/green scrubby, then rinse.

Starsan should remove any additional residue...

Edit: I've already answered to this thread multiple times! Lol! I guess I'm pretty passionate about Oxyclean and vinegar! Lol!

Alright, as it turns out, my beautiful wife has some oxyclean free already. I clean as i go and rinse my bottles after pouring. When I'm out of PBW, which in fairness was 11 bucks a pound rather than per quarter pound like I suggested before, I will use oxyclean as my wash, followed by Starsan as my sanitizer. The only problem I have is that the Starsan reacts with the wire used on my ez cap bottles:confused:

I have had better luck with actual oxyclean VS the Wally World brand. Gladly pay a little more for the original
