I am wiring my new shop and will be putting in a 50 amp GFCI with a 14-50R outlet. I have been a gas brewer for the past 40 years and am not sold on electric, but not installing this circuit at this stage would be foolish if I decide to go electric.
If I do go electric I would use a control panel like an Abuer. Where should I position the outlet for a panel similar to this? I know all hook ups are on the bottom of the panel, but approximately where horizontally and vertically from the bottom of the panel would be ideal. Also, what height would you mount the panel?
