Ordered extract instead of all grain. Was intoxicated.

Had a good time drinking, SWMBO was my DD and kept insisting I wait till "tomorrow" to order my next brewing kit. Of course, 2 cups of breakfast stout, 2 - Rockeford 10, Chimay blue, 2 dogfish 90, and couple of IIPA's who's make I didn't even bother asking for knew better.

I placed my order, got home and went to sleep. Today, the order came in and two big jars of extract are there. DANG IT!
F it, I'll brew it and probably get another Bavarian bock AG kit for next batch.

I just finished making a 1 gallon 1.041 OG yeast starter and felt like whinnying on the internet. Do y'all make stupid mistakes while .... Not sober?

Yes.Its the great thing about being not sober.

All will be fine. I just had to supplement my last AG brew with 5 lbs of extract because its been way too long since I've done AG and had terrible efficiency. Im blaming the time lapse and not the drinking on the bad efficiency.

I generally avoid the internet after a couple beers...for obvious reasons.

A few years ago, I was watching my Boilermakers in the Sweet 16 during the tournament, and let's just say that the game did not end well for them...

I had been drinking some barrel-aged RIS that was part of a homebrew club collaboration project. I think I went through, oh, about 3 pints of it during the course of a 2-hour basketball game...

Lo and behold, a few days later, 4 lbs of pellet hops showed up on my doorstep!

Never done that. But I did end up with a blichman burner on my doorstep that I didn't remember ordering. That was an expensive drunken evening, more so in the a$$ chewing I took from the swmbo for that one.

It just goes to show,the smoker I drink,the player I get. Does TV Crimes come to mind here? Just have a quicker brew day to get some more beer going & enjoy it.

The beer came out great, except my friend left the dispenser open.
Hadn't seen him in a couple of years, so I said it was me.

I care more about my friend than an extract bock.
