Am I missing something? I see it listed for 100 bid/120 buy, which is still insane mind you. But I don't see 775 anywhere.
They must have literally just changed it...are they watching this thread????

If I can figure out how to check my cache for a saved version of the original price, I'll post it.

Here's the saved page in the Google cache and a screenshot if I jacked that up (likely):

Srs question: do BADL's become more valuable with time? Other than OG Brandy Vanilla it seems like every iteration is white hot for a few months after release, then fade into semi-expensive obscurity. Am I wrong?

I feel like the price on all of them except Brandy Vanilla has seemingly either never changed, or only in a +/- 50 or so range. Pretty stable as far as secondary market prices go, especially the way a lot of **** shoots up astronomically. Also the people that buy this stuff seem to have mostly figured out that newer is generally better if what you're looking for is big vanilla flavor (which, of course, they are).

Splinter Blue! Let's all reflect on the last time anybody thought about this beer...

I remember that release like it was yesterday! Waiting in line I got to try heady topper for the first time (from a 500ml bottle.) Also a local dude traded his blue for izzy.

That beer was pretty amazing. Certainly something unlike anything Troegs ever did before and was never able to replicate. All my buddies popped their bottles open within a week of having them so I tucked mine away. I gave one away about 2 years ago and think I still have one left.

Really curious now how this is cuz it was pretty darn tasty back then.

MordorMongo, isn't SB your man crush?

Splinter Blue is delicious. Sadly down to one left after trading for a bunch in the way back times.

And yeah it’s the infamous beer ******* JEG took a huge pour of and then dumped into a plastic plant after a sip because “he doesn’t like sours”.

I should open my last one soon. End of an era.

Sounds like a perfect Birthday Party beer. Or palate cleanser at Meadapalooza. ;)

For some reason 16 was and still is a lot harder to get than usual, and I don't know why because it wasn't any better than years prior.
