Since I know people weren't sleeping at night, here's an update. He sent an unprovoked message and said the lowest he'll go is $750. Then yesterday sent me another message asking $400. I have ignored all his emails.

Oh, and it looks like he dropped the Buy It Now to a low, low price of $650. What a ******.
 
Looks like a Blauw "sold" for $2,200 on 11/28. Another bottle of Blauw was listed a day later on 11/29 for a selling price of $3,000. Not only does it seem legit, but things sure escalated quickly.

Cannot wait for this to arrive at my house so I can fill it with homebrew, recork and cage it, slap some foil on that pig and resell it for a hell of a deal at $1600. ****, I might even give a $200 discount if the buyer promises to ship it back to me once empty so the circle jerk can continue!

It will only be a matter of time before we see counterfeit lambic and other sour beer rolling into the market. Fill a .rar 3F bottle with a mixture of Cuvee Rene and local kettle sour. If the bottle gets traded a couple times then it will be difficult to identify the fraud unless it gets Rudy Kurniawan level forgery.

Yeah, I wonder what the person who purchased the empty bottle of Blauw is going to do with it. Unless or course, he wants it as a keepsake for that bottle share that he remembers oh so well.
