Things that make me go Hmmmmhttp://mybeercellar.com/?itm=33992 That last assassin wax job looks fake. Maybe it's legit, but it just looks ugly and fake.
Things that make me go Hmmmm
but the beautiful wax job by the brewers makes it a true one and only!
Amihigh or is half the bottle waxed too?http://mybeercellar.com/?itm=33992 That last assassin wax job looks fake. Maybe it's legit, but it just looks ugly and fake.
Was just about to post this.
There was a similar post about Focal Banger a month or so ago and it was selling more than this. I really hope this is fake.

Wish I had that kind of money to waste indiscriminately.
This is correct. The 2012 first batch of Assassin was the red wax however was filled too full and they had leakage issues so they took one of the barrels that was for the original batch of kbbs and converted to a second batch of assassin that they covered with gold wax. This batch was never sold it was given as an exchange to those with red wax that had an issue w leaking. In terms of the wax job that is 100% real I bet. When I was sent mine the entire bottle was entombed in wax. Here is a pic of what was left after chipping it out.I highly doubt that's fake. Anyone trying to fake a bottle would do their best to make it look like the real thing. That seems to be one of those joke wax jobs that TG has done before (there are photos of legit bottles of 2013 Assassin where half the bottle is waxed, for instance).
Isn't the 2012 (red wax) batch of Assassin considered ****** almost across the board? Never heard a positive thing about it.

Both. Clark lets them have fun being idiots on occasion as long as the beer is on point. Not sure if they're having fun, or complete idiots.
Either way, sign me up!

$300 for a signed Surly poster from 2007. Sure it's a pretty cool piece of swag...but $300?!?!
I'm starting to think that you spend a really unhealthy amount of time looking at MBC.Not even the highest price I've seen on that set this month.
