Hilarious user name aside, that seems like a really good deal by the standards of the market for that beer.
Sold it seems. Wait for that dude to turn around and try to sell it for $3K.Hilarious user name aside, that seems like a really good deal by the standards of the market for that beer.
The JoelStore Outlet.Sold it seems. Wait for that dude to turn around and try to sell it for $3K.
The seller said he picked it up last year (one of the 12 or so that bought it for $2k). Not sure why he's selling it for less than he bought it for only a year ago.
"750ml, only the bottle on the left of the right side of the picture"
what does this mean??

It's only an extra $26 -- I would think charging about $2 per month of cellaring makes sense for an IPA. Probably a great barleywine by now anyway. Maybe they're both happy, did you think of that? GOD!And some idiot bought it!

Russian River "Sours Collection" for $100+20 of 2013 batches of Consecration, Temptation, Damnation, Redemption, and Salvation.
So overpriced shelf beers, only 2 out of 5 of which are sour.
And sold 3 minutes after your post...
Pretty sure it's not actually a set of empties. There's a box to check on MBC that automatically lists it as "Empty Bottle". This is how some sellers sell recent vintages on the site. List is as "empty" and tell the buyer it's full. It's a little *wink*wink* type thing.http://mybeercellar.com/?itm=19592
Empty bottle. cellared properly, unopened 2001 Cantillon Lou Pepe Set.

Ah, okay. I figured it was some kind of typo because it says "unopened" right after. That's still a shitload for LPK vintages.Pretty sure it's not actually a set of empties. Yeah I think they went for less than that at the most recent skinner auction.Ah, okay. I figured it was some kind of typo because it says "unopened" right after. That's still a shitload for LPK vintages.
Excuse my ignorance, but what is a "skinner auction?"Yeah I think they went for less than that at the most recent skinner auction.
Ah right. Thanks for doing the grunt Google work for me.
