You've almost got it right except in one of those all I've done is indicated that I'd be interested in paying money for a chance to win a beer, I haven't actually paid ****.

$850/mo on a Lexus SUV is like paying $20/pint for Harpoon IPA. Yeah, it's not bad exactly, but why'd you choose that when you could have had so many other beers for the same or less?

Naw just a packaged out Grand Cherokee with a plan to pay it off ASAP to start banging a 529 plan for the kid hard early since apparently in 18 years with current tuition growth rate college will cost just shy of ten million for a four year state education.

Is it bad if I told you that something worse than this already exists? The expensive ones often have "satellites", where you enter a (cheaper) razzle to win slots in the main razzle. Some people are notorious for using these as a way to skim even more profit off the top (by pricing the satellite spots so that the total amount obtained is higher than if someone had just paid for the slot itself).
