What's extra amazing is that his ISOs have wildly different values themselves. LPK, Snowed In, FO, DQ, VSB...he's all over the place.Nothin like some 3 month old IPA for a DQ

I totally agree. It is out of control. BUT...I have to say that BVDL is one extremely hyped beer that met or even exceeded my expectations, and usually that doesn't happen. I generally don't trade a bunch of bottles for a single bottle, but I'll probably take a stab at this one once the hype dust (hopefully) settles just a bit.Dark Lord is the one beer that really baffles me... I don't understand how it trades so damn high every year. That ISO is way over the top but at the same time I wouldn't be totally surprised if it gets done...
Totally the opposite for me given the hype but I hate the base beer so it only makes sense.I totally agree. It is out of control. Wait, DL bottles cost $50???It baffles me as to why an annually made & released bottle with around 1,200 each time goes for 3-4+ equally sought after bottles and often times are one-off's or smaller counts, etc. The $50 price tag doesn't get it close to "asking price value" either. Just dumb.
There are too many schmucks in the trading biz that just continue to out-bid each other, and then the guys with the bottle want the latest (and greatest) asking price as the "going rate". Every hyped release is now an auction and you have to match or go higher than the last idiot.
Wait, DL bottles cost $50???
Side question, why don't they make more BVDL?

Happy to add to get this off the fence.
I think this is a troll account.
That account hasn't posted anything but trades, and it's being followed by one of the F2-style mods.

His FT was a crowler of the De garde/Great Notion double IPA.
Someone commented "Iris?"... and he said "I'll have to wait on other offers but if it was Iris, it'd have to be Iris+... more interested in fou, lou, vig and lam"
inb4 thanks for the facebook update JulianB.
The worst part is that these actually sell. Some dude in Boston offered me Maine Dinner for $30 per bottle. He allegedly sold a full case in less than 24 hours to locals.https://vermont.craigslist.org/clt/5550384646.html
In Vermont, too!

When he doubled down and said Iris would need to add, that's when it went from "run of the mill ****** ISO that I ignore" to lulz.I saw that and LOL'd.
I had to comment when he maid Iris would need to add. It was just too ****** for me to sit back and watch. When he doubled down and said Iris would need to add, that's when it went from "run of the mill ****** ISO that I ignore" to lulz.
