Some dopey brewery owner locally is throwing a giant bottle share at another warehouse space he has that will have a band, a cover charge and still requires you to bring beer.

I've always wanted to pay money to drink half an ounce of my own beer while neckbeards stare at me for taking too much lest they not get their tick, while some ****** local band blares across an echo chamber of a warehouse.

I don't exactly "roll deep" in whales, so the idea of taking something like a bottle of Art to share with a bunch of strangers just so I can get 1 oz pours of some other "whales" is so unappealing to me. Some of these beers take so much work to land, why would you want to share them with 10 or more people? Drink it yourself or with a few good friends or your significant other. Big shares of more easily attainable stuff make sense but "whale shares" where the price of admission is a bottle of a certain caliber are too rich for my blood.

because untappd bro

there should a "one ounce pour, dirty glass, compromised palate" option for checkins so I know to ignore them.
4.79 stars on that comment right there.

Coulda been a 4.85 if you checked into the generic version AND the exact vintage to double down on your badge acquisition potential.

lol, do people do that? i only check in to the generic version if the batch or vintage is unknown.

Yes, some of my untappd "friends" are horrible. Im a pretty easy going guy... but im sure one day I will snap and go postal because someone, somewhere is going to use their untappd checkin number as a datapoint on their beer knowledge resume.

Going to use?? I can think of quite a few that already do use that as a metric for their "knowledge"!

    Hoarders Cuvée
    Vanilla Medianoche
    Port Wee Heavy
    1x Trillium Pow Pow

    (All for KBBS)

I have some Other Half and Trillium coming as well. Can also swap in KRE and some of the last 3yrs of BCBS / Rare; Melange 15; Gots; FW box beers / vintage stuff.

I'd be open to something a bit smaller for Assassin. Let me know.

I'm confused, did the baby write the last ISO?

If you're going for something like KBBS, why even bother listing a ******* IPA? Does he really think there's someone out there thinking they were on the fence with those first 3 beers but the ******* Trillium IPA just is totally going to put it over the top? Include it as decent extra if you want but don't act like that beer is actually a blip on the radar in that trade.

But Pow Pow was only a 4pk per person, pretty much rarer than Assassin.
