C'mon man. I realize the beer community has gone downhill quite a bit for a variety of reasons, but your cynicism isn't helping the cause. You can doubt my intentions all you want, but I do actually drink (and share) most of my beers. I have a great group of friends locally and around the country who also do the same. I know that's rare in this day and age, but there are still some old school traders who like to trade and enjoy beer. In fact, I'm opening a bottle of DDG tomorrow with a friend I met through beer trading. He's crashing at my house with his girlfriend. If it weren't for trading, I wouldn't have gotten to know a great guy.

I'm done defending myself on this. I shouldn't have had to come on here to do so, but I felt it was necessary to point out that trades aren't always what they seem. Getting angry and cynical isn't going to help change things back to how they used to be. Staying principled and being a good person could though. Cheers

TBH CC+ MD b2 for VR+DDG+ 2x FO +WA is not a bad trade at all. WA+ DDG for CC and VR+ 2x FO b2 (assuming) for MD b2 seems pretty inline with what i've seen get done.

No worries. I don't remember what our trade was, but it really doesn't matter at this point. I left good feedback for you, too, so I was obviously happy with the trade. And that's all that matters.

I realize the ambiguity of my post. I added the note at the bottom because I wanted to make sure that it wasn't seen as me just trying to trade 4:1, but perhaps that wasn't easy enough to see. That said, I get why it was scrutinized given the new money traders who have contributed to the current downtrend in generosity of the beer community. However, I just wanted to point out that not all "bad trades" are as bad as they seem. Certainly there are people out there just looking to win and take advantage of the hype. Honestly, I don't think they'll last very long in this community. It's a tough way to go about acquiring beer. I'd just hope that anyone who knows me or has traded with me realizes that that's not how I am.
