Which one, him bitching about people buying lots of cans at Masthead (first I've heard of it), or him bitching about vintages on Untappd? Or is there another thread I'm missing?

And yeah, he's not on social media. This is quite obvious from the Hunahpu Day thread each of the past few years, where at some point he ******* loudly and incessantly about how CCB posts all of the information on social media rather than sending it out over email, especially when it comes to them doing the "early entry passes for charity". In his conception of the world the only fair thing to do is to send out an email to every ticket holder giving an opportunity to sign up for a lottery, which then has to be drawn, winners contacted, payments sent, etc. As opposed to what CCB does, which is drop a link on Facebook and the sale is done in under a minute.
 
He was also making the Tree House thread even worse than usual this week, backing up another guy's absurd argument that they should start distributing just so he could enjoy the on-site experience more. He complained that going to Tree House is a terrible experience compared to going to Cantillon.

I'm ashamed that I know this but reading the reddit trade value thread yesterday turned me into a shitlord... That thread is all sorts of awful.

I will never understand the Side Project hype. I wouldn't trade a single Arthur for that beer, let alone five bottles.

I really like Side Project. I think Saison du Fermier, Saison du Ble, Biere du Pays, etc are some of the best saisons out there. I used to know someone in StL that would get me some of their releases a couple years ago for very fair value trades. Then he moved to California to open his own brewery and now I don't really bother. What a jerk.
Also, I got to visit the SP Cellar a couple summers ago and it was a great experience. Great selection of their own draft and onsite bottles, and I know it's only gotten better since then.
But their very limited releases are just ammunition for the worst type trader.

I'm not a big fan, most of the stuff I've tried was pretty middle of the road. The only exceptions that I really really liked were Biere de Fantasie, Du Ble, and Grisette. I've never been to St. Louis though and never tried the dark beers.

NewDoesn't this seems way later than they normally post the brewery list and begin building the draft list than in the past? I know they posted this year's breweries on social media, but they usually have a copy-pastable list up on the site, and by now i think the draft lists were also starting to show up. I just really like seeing the list ahead of time and working out a plan of attack.

Hey, that's my trade! It's funny you pointed that out, because I was actually very confused by his question. Obviously I ignored it and ended up doing the trade with someone else. We had a chuckle about the 375 question. I figured if the guy didn't know what size the bottles were I shouldn't be trading with him. Had I known he had a reputation for being a tool it would have made it even more amusing!

He also has been an active participant in the TG thread on the Midwest forum for the past 2 years for their stout releases. Same **** there as everyone else has said about him in other threads.

Will echo a lot of this. Been to the Cellar twice, once back in like 2013-14 and the second time last February. While not everything I've had was a home run, nothing was even close to average either. His saisons are close to HF in terms of quality and his stouts are probably the biggest bodied stouts I've had. Excruciatingly sweet though. I wouldn't bother gunning for 95% of his stuff as it's just asinine to even try but I do think he's objectively a very talented brewer.

The sad part is that I initially found CannedWaggoneer's condescending customer blaming the most obnoxious part of that thread, until Sabtos had to rush in with a nice helping of classism to round out his usual ignorance and then triple down on it.

I used to like CannedWaggoneer because we agreed on Hoof Hearted being trash. However, he took a full heel turn a few weeks ago.

Sabtos is easily the most annoying BA ever, and I'm dying to see him out somewhere and finally put a face to the name.

I know this isn't him, but after image searching his handle, this is the closest pic to what I imagine he looks like (at least the proportions/head shape/ears):

I have tried so hard to put a face to a name, but apparently he isn't on any form of social media. So, I'll just assume this is him.

I agree that he's a very talented brewer, just most of the stuff he makes isn't really my cup of tea.

I wish I met him and it was Fred from Hoppin' Frog.

He is the worst. Between him and the guy that doesn't know how to punctuate, the New to Ohio thread is an excruciating read.

I kinda like CannedWaggoneer, but I think it's because I still haven't figured out if he's doing a bit or he's genuinely the person he portrays through his posts.

Well damn I just went to try to find a ****** trade post by Sabtos so i could mix the two. Unfortunately he deletes them.
