I finally got some time to catch up on (home)brewery chores. Last night I kegged 4 batches that were in either primary or secondary and ready to keg; an Alt, 2 IPA's and an APA. The Alt has a bit of a odd aftertaste, but I am thinking (hoping) it will mellow and perk up once carbed and aged a bit. The 2 IPA's are house IPA's, nothing new there. The APA is a new recipe that I am looking forward to trying....looking for that ellusive malty, full flavored ale with an OG under 1.048. Time will tell.
Now I have fermenters open for business again. I made a trip to my HBS last night and picked up a bunch of grains, some new yeast, and a few odds and ends. Gonna try a hard lemonade for my wife for the first time this weekend, still looking for a good, simple, basic recipe to build on. Now I just have to decide what beer to brew. Decisions, decisions.....
Brew on.....
