Yup,hops glorious hops! My strainer tipped over when I was filling the wife's fermenter. 2 hop cones plugged the barrel tap with about a quart or so of beer left. Just got it off & unplugged a bit ago.
Next time,I'll have more muslin grain bags for the whole leaf hops rather than straining afterwords. Those leafs get into everything. I usually use hop sacks for pellets. I have plenty of those,but only one grain bag for the whole leaf hop's greater volume. To the LHBS I go...
 
It's easier to squeeze out a bag of whole hops than to get'em out of everything. The new harvest at my LHBS seem to be more whole leaf than pellets. More Hop Union than LD Carlson.
 
I'm sippin on the finished product now and I actually think I got more aroma out of pellet hops the last time I used them (citra hops)
