...probably the only reason.

Saturday night live hasn't been this funny in a LLOOONNGG time.

I just watched the Tina Fey/McCain QVC intro. I haven't laughed this hard in a while, and the last time was probably the "Palin and Clinton address the nation"

I think i'm in love with Tina Fey. might even have to start watching 30 Rock.

:D

Hmmmm....I didn't laugh at all. The first 2 TF sketches were pretty good, but it's old already. Wife was all excited to watch it and she was pretty disappointed as well.

A couple times I've mentioned some of Tina's funnier lines to by business partner, only to be informed that Tina was quoting Palin!

I think the election is saving SNL. I think without it, it would be a mess, and would be swirling the drain. Just IMO ... I miss the old stuff.

"I'm a true maverick: a Republican without money." Now that was funny!

I didn't laugh either. I dunno, maybe I'm just spoiled with Curb and Always Sunny, which make me laugh so hard I start to have asthma problems :D I mean, really...Fey does a good Palin impression, but impressions don't go very far unless you really have good jokes. Though, I do still think that Jay Mohr's Chris Walken impression was one of the funniest damn bits on SNL evar.

But really, nothing on SNL even comes close to, say, Danny DeVito sayin "it's racooooon meat!"...

I found it mediocre funny. The shock of seeing Tina Fey look so much and sound so much like Palin has lost it's humor for me already.

By the way, 30Rock is absolutely brilliant. I don't understand how the same cast and writers turn out horse crap on SNL but such an amazing sitcom. Beyond me.

*shrug* I want to like 30 Rock, and I usually like the first 3/4 of every episode, then I get a weird empty, turned-off feeling in the last 5 minutes.

I think my funny is broken. Once SWMBO gives me her old iPod, I'm totally going to start watching all the shows I want to catch up on, that she hates. For example, Californication, Always Sunny, Arrested Dev, Flight of the Conchords, The Mighty Boosh, Curb Your, the list goes on and on.

HWMO and I cracked up. The SNL skits were the first time I've liked McCain in the past 4 months.

"And here's another bad one: it's called the Sad Grandpa. That's where I get on tv and go 'C'mon, Obama's gonna have plenty of chances to be president! It's my turn!'"
