I'm making a oat beer.
I wanted to make an easily scaled malty oat beer. I wanted to use
1lb rolled oats
1lb pale malt
1oz hops
Topped to 1gallon

Tappist ale yeast

One week in has met w/ milky smells and thick sludge but I'm hopefull.

I intend to stew some rasins and add the blended materal to the secondary

I'm curious what the mash method was like with such a high concentration of oats.

Stop being hopeful with what's in that jar.

Let us know more about your process and procedure, and we'll steer you in the right direction. Are the grains still in there?
