On Hiatus

I'd mentioned this elsewhere, but figured I'd take the chance to elaborate.....

I'm moving from here to Oklahoma in less than a month. My wife (also USAF) is going to be headed to the desert about a week before I get there. She'll be gone for at least 4 months. So right now I can't brew because I don't have time to turn anything around. After I get there, I don't know how much of a chance I'll have since it will just be me and my son.

I'm going to convert a workshop in my new backyard into my brewery, which means I'm going to have to put together a whole new system for brewing indoors. I hope to get all that accomplished while she's gone, 'cause then it's going to be full speed ahead. So if you know of anyone between VA and OK with at least a single-tier stand they want to get rid of, lemme know.

Just wanted to let you all know that I haven't disappeared. I still check in regularly, but I haven't been posting much as my mind hasn't really been on brewing lately.

Brew on......I'll probably be asking n00b questions again here in a few months. :rockin:

Oh yeah.....Dude donated a couple kegs to get me through this rough period. I feel like I'm on homebrew welfare.

Also, I'm a native Okie, so it's all the more like going home. I'm a little concerned about the beer situation, though. That's one good thing I can say about this area.....good beer selection. Oklahoma, not so much. Oh well, I'll just have to brew more.
