Hello all. I registered with a n00b (1st batch) Q that, while I was waiting, was answered by friends, so never got around to asking here. Decided I should post something so y'all know I'm not a robot.

I'm not a robot :)

Doing 2nd read of HowToBrew.com, have 1 batch of by-the-book "Cincinatti Pale Ale" in the carboy (accidentally used ~6 gallons of water in a 5-gal recipe, which led to my "uh... is this right?!" Qs that never got posted here) and 2nd batch (attempting same recipe) planned for this coming weekend.

My "style" is to follow along the "tutorials" (how-to-brew and similar recipes) until I feel I've learned each lesson, then move on (hence the repeat of recipe #1, after my 3.6%abv 1st batch). Once I feel that I've "mastered the game controls", I'll become one of those wild-men who experiment with weird <expletive> that nobody else is willing to try.

(Yes, yes -- I know some of you other "mad scientist" types think you're willing to go anywhere. I used to be like that. Then I broke through and now I'm not welcome at the mad-scientists gatherings, anymore. ;) )

Anyway... I'm sure I'll have Qs and/or comments eventually. I'll try not to pollute the forums with too much "been over it 1000x" stuff but, again, wanted to say "hi" so as not to seem unsociable. :)

Cheers! :mug:
