Old rubber bung in my carboy....

So I just dug out one of my old glass carboys and realized I had got a rubber bung stuck down the thing about 6 years ago. To make matters worse it has a bunch of crud in it. Do you think I can clean/sanitize this thing well enough to use it?

WOW! Thanks. I'm gonna give that a shot....looks too easy but I hope it works with a tapered rubber bung. I think that was David Copperfield, I couldn't see his face!

Probably want to clean the crud off first and get the bung lubed up first.

Lol, will do. Tomorrow's brew schedule is a Hefe and an IPA....two brews in a day is why I went and dug up the old carboy. Thanks again.
