Old and opened WLP670-ok?

I have a vial of WLP670. Lactobacillus. The vial was opened a few months ago and I carefully removed a small portion. Its been in the fridge ever since and was wondering if its ok to use. I plan on using this in conjunction with a spontaneous fermented beer. The vial would expire in 2 months.

Probably fine.

Make a small starter and see how it smells/tastes? If it seems fine then i wouldn't be concerned

If it will be spontaneously fermented anyway, only spontaneous stuff could have infected the vial, so it'll make no difference.
