OK to clean keg with scratchy side of sponge?

Just bought some reconditioned kegs and need to clean them. Is it OK to scrub them with the scratchy side of the sponge or will this risk scratching the surface and possible infections like in buckets?

Like one of those green scrubbie things? I say go for it. The keg is SS and that sh*t is a hard metal.
