OG Question

I am brewing my second batch, a Festa Brew Wheat. The first time I brewed I didn't take an OG measure. This time, it is around 1.050. I am assuming that is normal?

It's impossible to answer if that is normal for that brew without the recipe. Does the kit not come with that kind of information?

If you can provide the ingredients and the volume of wort we can better answer your question.

without knowing the recipe, I can only say that 1.050 is an acceptable OG for a wheat beer, per style guidelines.

I may be wrong but arent the Festa Brews the pre mixxed wort? They come in 23 liter bags and you just add the yeast and ferment. f thats the case he OG should be pretty standard for each particular style - I think it is likley listed on the box.

If it is not the beer in a bag - then just ignore me
