Solid share with lopejuice patm1986 acurtis last night. Highlights were OGV 12', de cam lambiek special, &+, the anniversary, and of course LPK.

Saturday night. Music, billiards, and beers with NAPO, crafty Chris, and neighbor Nick.

Beers that were drank and/or shared. Highlights...
Rare Barrel Impossible Soul that tosh sent. Damn cool. Delivered on the "sour AND sweet" cherries bit. Some feels of sourness being a bit thin and acidic; nitpicks on a superb beer. Partly as it was followed by, hence kinda compared to, De Garde Pezacca that NAPO brought. Which was also superb; fruits and hops playing perfectly over funky sourness. A couple more nitpicks about the finish.
Fantome Pissenlit and DMD. I'm so in the fan club now. NO WAY I should like a beer like DMD, totally not my style; loved it.
Tannen Zapfel Pils. 'cause it's perfect.

Lowlight was EASILY Mystic Freak Scene. undrinkable.

And Nick schooled all of us at pool. Again.

Curious about how Flora Coovy was, especially in the same night as Flora

Coovy was really good; definitely Flora, more barrel on the finish; light, effervescent, terrific. But for some reason I liked the Flora (b5) better. We didn't do them sbs (which was probably a mistake) and the b5 was later in the evening, but it just tasted richer (whatever that means I don't know).

Nice little Thursday night tasting with GregorySingh swivelhips birrotecacr thebrewracho and a few others.
A few notes:
Zenne is legit (decanted 30 min)
OGV 2012 needs a little time but drinking really nice right now
OGV is better than regular OG
Hommage still plastic even after being decanted 30 min ++
2014 Framboos still undercarbed
Wild Peach is drinking nice

I'm hurting today but we had a pretty killer share yesterday/night with GregorySingh Spoonsock thebrewracho swivelhips andrewsmith John11486 and a couple other good people.

This started off as a "let's bring a few beers from each brewery we like" and exploded into a 50+ bottle extravenganza.

Highlights and notes:
SdF b1 was nice but we all agreed b3 was superior. Black & Wild was super duper tart.

Apricot du Fermier was very nice, but to me it was slightly acidic. I prefered West Ashley.

Blends 1 of Casey Saison, East Bank and Oak Theory. Apricot "Perfection" Fruit Stand was outstanding. I enjoyed it better than the Preserves Nectarine. AC Golden Framboise Noir was a nice surprise.

Highlight: First Bu ever made (Blackberry)

Farmhouse Noir b1 was really, really good. And blended nicely with other fruited beers. Nonnas 7 is drinking nice. West Ashley won the apricot challenge.

A couple home brews + random palate cleansers and whatnot. Arthur was 10/13 and super delicious. Black Tuesday was 2009 edition and tasty. Bourbon MX Cake, Cognac MX Cake both great. Bourbon Cake much more spicey.

Dat Framboise Noir...I absolutely loved that beer. Wish I had another bottle or 10.
