I traded in the wild today, on Facebook, guy was totally new money- he was actually quite cool, not a dick at all. He insisted this was his end, I confirmed 4x that’s what he wanted to send, I can only try so hard.

BA Dorothy is a B1 :)

Started going through these small samples that I brought from the Weyermann Malt Factory in Bamberg. That building is crazy, we smelled malt from like half the city away.

EDIT: The quality varies...

They make some weird stuff in that pilot system they have. The rauch is delicious.

I personally thought the Schlotfegerla Rauch was better than the Bamberger Hofbrau Rauch. I don't know which one you meant. The Maibock was probably the highlight for me. Super drinkable yet full of taste.

Next Germany trip to look forward to is Berlin this summer. That means German beers all day every day.

I believe it was the Schlotfegerla, I had it on draft at the bar they have in the back where they keep the rest of the weird stuff.

Berlin is surprisingly not a huge beer city, aside from visits to Muted Horn I drank mostly Beck's and Jever when I was there. It is an incredibly fun city though.

So I get a text from capnmike yesterday asking if I would be in the city as he had "a Focal/Heady" to hand off.

This is "a Focal/Heady."

Thanks Mike - this is insane. First Casey beer among others. Can't wait to dig in!

Hey, I see the mentioned beers there - upper right!

Thanks for lunch!

Thanks, too, for not telling everyone how uber lazy I was to not even remove the Etre bubble wrap from the 375s :)
