Sideswipe (who I have never spoken with before) contacted me this week and said he had a box coming for me purely because he liked some of the contributions I had made. I opened this today.





I'm completely stunned. Not only did someone I've never interacted with send me a box at all, he sent 100% new to me beer and a 3 year vertical (2011-2013) of Black Tuesday, my absolute favorite beer.

Came across these two old d'Achouffe bottles. Both are Chouffeleirs. One is from 85 and other from 87. Not much info out there on these so if anyone has info on the history of these two beers would love to hear ? Bill as I know he found them awhile back

Batch 1 and batch 2, AFAIK. They were brewed for a hotel, and the fill levels on the pictured bottles are basically standard. The +2 I opened a few months ago was still carbed enough that it pushed the cork out. If you want to not have these anymore, LMK.
