Regular trading partner of mine is tracking down a Black Agnes. Stoked to get to try it.

Have you (or anyone reading) had any Superstition? How does it compare to any others you've tried?

I've had several Superstition meads. I have to say, it's a tough call for me to decide on "favorite mead" between Black Agnes and Blueberry White. I think I would still choose Agnes, but just by a hair. Totally different meads, but both are just world class. I highly recommend seeking out Blueberry White or pretty much any of the White series from Superstition.

Thanks. I'm likely back in Phoenix for work soon and will track it down. Looks like Prescott is a bit far but some places have it around town.

The difference between Meads like HoD and The Statement Reserve vs Black Agnus and The Statement is the difference between Starbucks coffee and a single origin bean roasted at an artisanal roaster. Both Types of mead are tasty but HoD and SR are on another level. All the fruit is from Ken's personal property and he has some amazing varieties of fruit you can't just buy in a supermarket. Plus the Orange Blosdom honey used for b4 HoD (this most recent release) is from an award-winning bee keeper and honey producer. Her Orange Blossom won some prestigious honey awards, so basically the highest quality honey out there.

IMO HoD and SR are better than the Berry White series.

It is WAY better in my opinion. I joined the Mazer Club the day after my first drink of it. Only think I kick myself about joining is that they had lifetime memberships open when I joined and I passed

While I can't yet speak for HoD, I can say those are both fantastic meads you just named. However, Black Agnes is the best liquid to ever enter my mouth. It's just amazing. I'm having a hard time believing HoD can be any better. But I plan to find out soon. Cheers!

First, davey101 send me this box just because I asked. He must have missed the memo on demanding one off lambic for TH hops Seriously Dave thank you, was completely unnecessary and is very much appreciated. Don't mind the bunnies. The picture is self-explanatory, Captain's Daugter sounds amazing as well, and I love me some Backwoods.

And then...this was just ridiculous. When I saw the box I thought my wife had ordered a new bed or something. No way was that a beer shipment, certainly not the LIF I had won from jupiter6xx because why the hell would anyone send that much...holy ****. Brad, thank you.
