Holy smokes, what a day.

stupac2 hooking it up LARGE for me being his proxy. As if the ridiculous bottle wasn't awesome enough on its own... the day it hits its 1 year, will be the last day of my honeymoon in New Zealand. Needless to say, that bottle will be making the trip.

Candy and beer from sb67. Trade started around the Horchata and Black House, two beers I really REALLY wanted... and when they finally get here, I think I was more excited that I got a 2nd batch of candy than any of the beer. You guys are missing out if you haven't had any.

And then I get a box from that ******* BusinessSloth. I sent him ******* cans, and this is what I get back. Absurd.

And then when I get home from work I have yet another box on my doorstep, this time from GRDave. Bunch of awesome sounding beers, and I'm pretty sure all new ticks as well. I told him he could save his KBS for someone more worthy than me, especially since I could have gotten it but was just a lazy sack of **** and didn't get off my ass. The ******* sends me 2 bottles anyway.

And here I am with all this amazing beer.... and I leave for Chicago tomorrow. Needless to say, I'm going to get really, really drunk tonight.

Proving once again that trading on this site is ridiculous, in the best way possible. Set up a mead trade with trickytunadicky. It's sb's first meads, so I figured I'd get 2-3 bottles. Nope! I got some drinkin' to do! Dumb question: optimal serving temps for mead? I'm reading to serve at wine-like temps based on color/lightness of mead? I don't even know which one of these to start with -- they sound great!

Didn't realize my finger was in the shot. Oops. Oh well.

Apple would be good warm or cold, dragons, blackberry and ep 13 are best cellar temp (40-50) , and the two kuhnhenns are probably optimal slightly warmer than fridge temp if you ask me.
