Mike tells me he's headed up to HF and asks if I want 2 4-packs of Heady. Not surprisingly I responded positively, then decided to push my luck a bit and asked, if it wasn't too much trouble, if he might be able to get me a growler of something if they were planning on doing that anyway, trying to make it clear I didn't want him to go out of his way for me (like an extra trip through the line or something). Well, he sends me the only growler of Double Citra he got rather than keeping it for himself (in his own words "I've already had this batch twice") then tosses in a couple of Ithaca extras for good measure (both new, both I'm excited to try). Mike is an incredibly generous and stand-up guy who epitomizes everything good this community is about. Cheers!

Went to Funk & Sour Fest at Jester King this weekend. Beyond the 2 sets of new fruit sours I bought (the boxes in the background), I bought some JK beer there and completed some trades as well. VERY happy with this haul overall.
