This: it has to be in almost every club. Anecdotally, the amount of above crap that Tim and Adair put up with is insane, but their depth of patience is humbling.

Been lurking, now posting.

Had the privilege to visit dG for the first time last week as my wife (whoa ) and I did a PNW loop for our honeymoon. It was easily one of the top brewery experiences I've had. Max chill vibes (I'm sure visiting on a lazy Sunday contributed greatly to this), and the bartenders were absurdly friendly and accommodating.

Naturally, I entered for the membership without a second thought and will be eternally offended/appalled if I don't get in and will never again drink another dG beer.

If you're bored and want some amusement (and aren't banned) check out the thread on the other site. Yikes. Shouldn't be surprised a good and honest brewer gets taken to the whipping post over there because the rent is too damn high.

I'll say what I always say in response to these kinds of posts. This is an opinion driven website and forum, and that's what people come on here for. Sometimes you may agree with what's posted by a member, sometimes you may not. However, if you find something posted by a member to be so offensive and distasteful that it leaves you aghast, the best solution is to stop reading it.

Telling someone (anyone) to stop posting because you disagree with their opinion, is not something that is likely to get much traction on BA.

That being said, good luck with your application to become a club member. You're clearly a big fan of dG beer, so I hope this works out for you.

Made it to De Garde this past Saturday with my wife, my brother and my mom. Awesome place, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We loved the beer, too - Kriek Premiere was the winner for my wife, my brother and me.

We got a flight of everything available on draft because my mom wanted to try all of it. While she does really like beer, her preferences are limited to lagers, porters, old ales and sweeter stouts.

Please find a few lines of her reviews below. I unfortunately can't assign them to specific beers, as we were laughing too hard at her reactions.

- "Eww. God. Is that vinegar?"

- "This one smells like a cigarette."

- "God. That tastes like something you left in the fridge for a few months too long."

We all had a great time and hope to make it back to the area for another family vacation. Stayed in Manzanita and absolutely loved it.

I need a trustee too. The only issue, and its not a real issue if you think about it, is that I didnt get in.
