We asked a group of five people who we had been repeatedly told were buying beer for a person selling it if that was the case and if they were paid to be there. These folks were coming back multiple times a week recently. When they said 'yes,' we said they could not buy beer to go. I know there are contrary stories on the interwebs, but so it is.
Our goal, as always, is to get our beer into folks hands for the best price we possibly can. Paying people to come and purchase for resale or anything else removes that possibility. We hope it's understood.
It was a ****** situation as you can imagine, and no grandmother was confronted or spoken to. She was just part of the paid group, and they carefully walked her out as they had in. I feel for her. Shame on whomever paid her family to bring her.

It old. On average, it is old. I dig it.I had a small taste at the De Garde event at Belmont Station a couple weeks ago. I really enjoyed it. Super funk driven and I thought it tasted a bit like a hybrid of Broken Truck and the Duo. I think they used some of their older barrels in the blend maybe degardebrewing could shed some light on it?
