‘Bout time the O-line looks at least decent. Hopefully Wynn is coming back.

Dante can only do so much.

I said it before.... they win this year, he should be the first (that I know of) position coach to make the HOF. Dude is ridiculous.

Ted Nugent is so money

Ted Nugent is a whiney blowhard.

He played sort of near my hometown some years back at a rather public event. Some parents thought "you know, some of the things Ted sings about aren't things I'd want my kid to hear about at this particular point in their lives", so they decided to set up a different event out of earshot. I don't think many, if any, publicly chastised Ted, they just wanted an alternative to having their kids around that. Ted freaked out about how the community was mistreating him, and publicly attacked certain event planners and sponsors.

Thing is, that community rarely gets entertainment like that. When they do they typically fill the venue without the entertainer throwing a fit and naming people he doesn't like. There was never any danger that people weren't going to go see him. He just played the victim, had a tantrum, and made a bunch of people complain to and even threaten event sponsors for no reason.

He was still great in the movie Beer for my Horses with Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, and Rodney Carrington.

Right. Kinda follows when the person in question is a nut job.

Aaanyway...Hella enjoyable game tonight - if you're a New England Patriots fan. Everyone else can suck it

Pats would be 4-3 in the NFC West. Nothing special; just terrible opponents

Out of the Rams, 'Hawks, Niners and <cough> Cardinals, which do you really believe could actually beat the Patriots right now - never mind when they start getting their first stringers back?

Hmmmm? I don't see it.
"Waiter. Check, please".

Belichick held a "Come To Jesus" sideline meeting near the end of the first half to excoriate the D wrt penalties.
That pretty much stopped that.
And those two attempts to move the ball back on the 4th down punt? Guarantee the league is going to change the rules somehow as the whole point was to run the clock even when the penalties were declined. The guy is a friggin' genius...

Cripes, I just looked at the latest Patriots injury report and it's like they were in a plane crash.
Not feeling particular confident about Cleveland. Edelman better have himself a game because there isn't much left to the offense behind him...

You should have at least put that in quotes, fer chrissakes ;)
Besides, you're a bit late to the pile on. I already admitted to it all...
Anyway, from all appearances my concerns were misplaced. The Patriots can still kick ass even with an entire teams worth of offense players on report...

I'm a cynical pessimist - Curmudgeon, First Class - so you just have to live with my uncertainty.

On a more potentially historic note, it's possible Darnold's passer rating of 3.6 is the lowest in NFL history for a full game...

lol! Snuck that right by me in plain sight ;)

At this point it's all about the physical health of the Patriots defense.
After this weekend the only team that bothers me at all is the Bills, and the Patriots play them at home.
That said, I'm not a 19-0 guy as frankly I don't think Belichick is into it - you can almost count on him playing the taxi squad for the Miami game...

Shouldn't that start off with "seven games X three hours (roughly)"? The metric would look over three times more impressive.
