As long as we're asking questions of sad fans gone missing:
Whatever happened to that J-E-T-S fan (darwin18) that used to post here? That dude's team sucks!

Never seen a team on MNF so totally checked out...

Cheers! :drunk:

The season is probably just too much for Darwin to bare. His team baaaaaaa-lows again and he's gotta listen to his own mom give him diggers about how the GOAT just keeps padding his resume.

After the ratings crater that was MNF, looking at the Week 14 lineup there actually are some decent games in prime time.

TNF Raiders at Chiefs
SNF Cowboys at Giants
MNF Ravens at Patriots

Even the undercard games have some interest. Steelers at Bills should be watchable for the early game, and Seahawks pummeling Packers on their own turf will do for the afternoon...

Cheers!

Speaking of the GOAT... this looks like its going to be the last year that I have to run around moving the Tom Brady On A Shelf every night.

My oldest doesn't believe anymore and the young one is starting to seriously question things.

Oh well

As a parent of a four year old I've avoided anything to do with anybody on a shelf. That's the wise move, right? Honest question.

I dunno... it's another harmless threat that works on kids. "You better behave. They're watching and and will tell Santa!" And they did literally enjoy it for years. They would sprint downstairs every morning to see where the elf and Tom Brady had moved to.

As a sick parent, you get to pose the things in all sorts of sick poses, take pics, and send em to your friends.

It's kind of a win-win.

Just another hokey xmas thing but hokey stuff like that is awesome

My honest advice would be to do it. Let your four year old get all the enjoyment they can outta being four.

You're kidding?

People are now soliciting parenting advice from Cape? This thread has reached a new low.

My kids had a life lesson by staying with a big 1st gen Italian family friend of mine at the age of 9 & 6 while I was in Cabo. One walked away with a wad of cash, the other crying learning that santa was a farce.

Some random doll moving around would't have made it 4 hrs in that house.

That's sad. My dad once tried to teach me that I'm not better than any other person, but this thread proves clearly that I'm better than all of you.
