I know Vegas doesn't set the line based solely on who and by how much they think will win.
But I don't understand why the Pats were -10 against the 4-1 Jets, but only -8 against the 3-3 'Fins.

Miami hasn't beaten anyone with an even remotely winning record, and the Jets beat Miami.

I dunno, the whole thing seems weird...

Vegas sets lines based on what they think the public will bet. Fins won big last week and the stupid public will bet them. That said, 8 is still a high number and Pats haven't covered many games this year. I'd take the 8 points if I had to bet that game.

I'd have thought it would take fewer points to get betters on the Jets side than it would take for the 'Fins, but tbh I'm not a better (mostly because I don't get how all that sh!t actually works)...

Been thinking about it, and I just know that Belichick doesn't give a crap about going 16-0, and will probably start giving time off to starters after having beaten every team in the Division as of tonight.

So, given that - and the realization that Brady accounted for all but one friggin' yard of offense last Sunday - the only important thing is for TB12 to get through the game injury-free...
