I doubt a ball boy would have to be bribed, multiple times, to do something legal and that's in his job description....

And where does it say Brady was "bribing" him. You saw Brady giving stuff to one of the locker room attendants and instantly jumped to "bribery!! He bribed him!!!"

So you don't think NFL players ever hook up any of the locker rooms guys?

That's asinine.

Jesus Christ Cape. Where did I say Brady was bribing him? I said he was bribed, which is a fact. Did you forget the part where he mentioned cash too?

LOL. * you got nothin

Messing with the integrity of the game is far more egregious than some off-field transgressions that merit lengthy suspensions in the NFL. What’s worse, Brady knowingly interfering with the legitimacy of the AFC championship or a player getting caught smoking weed during the offseason? It’s not even close. The latter gets a two-game suspension on the second offense and a four-game suspension on the third offense. What does the former deserve?

Brady’s actions, unlike a positive drug test for non-PEDs, had an affect on the outcome of a game — one of the three biggest in the sport. That’s why a four-game suspension (which would include the NFL’s marquee Thursday night opener) is what Brady deserves and what he’ll likely get.

Best part to me: he didn't need to do it. Which is great because it makes NE fans think they have an excuse by saying it didn't matter in the game. Just pure greed on his part. Brady is a cheating POS. Enjoy idolizing a guy with no integrity Pats fans, losers.

seriously, you pete "cooter" carroll-loving motherf--kers should be the absolute last people to throw stones from your glass house.

Yayyyyyyyy!!! Like the shirt says Hoppy... we are all Patriots.

Honestly, this is a brilliant business move by Roger Goodell.

A time of the year when the draft has come and gone, and usually sports talk drifts to basketball playoffs and baseball, and he releases that steaming pile of turd to make sure everyone talks football for at least a couple more weeks.

Dude's a genius.

I'm still trying to understand the logic behind the conclusions here - we have texts between two locker room attendants talking about how Brady was pissed that the refs inflated game balls in the Jets game to 16PSI - a full 2.5 PSI over the legal limit. And somehow his being pissed that the refs forced illegally overinflated balls on him means he _probably_ wanted underinflated balls? That's a leap.

But again, a brilliant business move, giving threads like this tons of life at a time of year when they usually go dormant.

Bravo.

Deflection? Seriously man - explain the logic to me. Brady's pissed the ball was overinflated. Equipment guys say (whether sarcastically or not, who knows) roughly "oh yeah, wait till he sees the next balls - we'll make 'em rugby balls". [Insert logic here] Pats are illegally deflating balls under the limit.

That's a logical leap that, while not impossible, certainly seems less probable than probable.

EDIT: But it keeps us all arguing about football, instead of about Lebron's next choke job, or the ball of suck that's the AL East right now...

Ahhhahahah!!

That's about the response I would expect.
