Hoping for a total beat down of the pesky j-e-t-s, but instead enjoyed the best Thursday Night Football game in years.

We had it all the way, of course ;)

Cheers!

Don't even acknowledge him... His team is in freakin' third place in its division... so I'm not sure what he's even babbling about. It's like those Dolphin fans.... it's all just noise you have to block out.

It was competitive and entertaining. I didn't scream at the TV and for the most part enjoyed the game. That's all I can hope for this season.

Especially when they kick your ass in head to head games.

Dominating win

I hope that is a joke. That game was ugly. Both teams were terrible. Geno Smith can't throw for more than 8 yards and who was Tom Brady throwing those lobs to? A blocked FG to win isn't exactly dominating. It was a nice block but I was hoping to see the kick since it was a 58 yarder to win or lose.

I love how the ref tipped off Hightower that he was in an illegal position just before the FG attempt. Typical cheating refs helping the Pats.

I was wondering when that'd be brought up...

Do a little searching, and you'll find this happens more often than you'd think. You'll also find that he was 2 or 3 yards off the center, and not in an illegal position to begin with. Or you can check out someone else's research on the matter.

Or you can go on believing whatever the heck BS you want to believe...

There's no room for facts in this thread!!!! ;)

Nice to see the Seahawks accept this is a rebuilding year and start to trade off guys for picks.

Meh... Maybe next year....

The Jet's knew the only way to prevent the Pats from winning the Super Bowl NEXT year (since they sure as hell can't beat them) was to provide the Seahawks with some cap relief. A brillant move really.

I think the Seahawks still get a cap hit from Harvin's contract, at least for this season. I'm not concerned about the draft pick - Idzik has shown himself to be an incompetent in the draft.

So... why are the Seahawks trading Harvin? How does this help their chances of repeating this year?

And why are the JETS giving up a decent draft pick in a lost season, anyway? I mean, if that proves to be a second-rounder, a second-rounder for the JETS is only one or two picks lower than New England's usual first rounder.

Don'r really understand this trade from anyone's perspective other than the JETS' GM, who seems to be desperately, desperately trying to save his job.
