Brady was just on local radio sending a shout-out to Goodell. He thinks the fifth pre-season game the Pats get to play this week will really help them when they start playing real games a week and a half from now.

Having this game allows the Pats to play their third and forth stringers and really see what they have for depth.

I think it's a nice luxury. Glad the Pats got that benefit this year.

Save for one of the worst ref rulings in history (which, ironically seem to favor the Pats* too often) on a "illegal" touch, that 5th preseason team would have been 2-0 in 2013 against you cheating criminals.
