Brady's overall stats:

6th in passing completions
9th in passing attempts
7th in passing yards
5th in passing TDs
4th in QB rating
10th in completion %
5th in game winning drives
4th in comebacks
T3rd in Super Bowl wins

Patriots won 11 games the year he was out; a monkey could run that offense

Sorry Cape, not even close to Top 2.

Those facts. So relevant right now.

1) Montana
2) Elway
3) Farve
4) Manning, Peyton
5) Marino
6) Aikman
7) Brady

Montana yes.

Elway needed Shanny to win, but he is still deserving of top 5, maybe 3.

Farve at 3 is a joke, Aaron Rodgers is already better than him. Farve was just as often an gun slinging int throwing retard as he was a brilliant gun slinging hero.

Peyton should be on the list, but he should absolutely have more post season victories, he'll choke again this year.

Marino- Rings? Given he was on teams with ****ty defenses.

Aikman? Really? You think Brady is a product of a system, but include Aikman? Come on son. That's just a poor showing.

Brady- 3 rings, 5 SB appearances. Plus the stats. Not to mention all the last minute heroics. Oh and the Vinitieri misses those kicks and Brady ain't **** argument is garbage. How many times did Marino, Farve, or Peyton Manning ever even put their kicker in a last minute situation to make a game winning field goal.

Also, you make a list like this and don't include Bradshaw or Johnny U? Hell there's a whole host of guys who should be on there ahead of Aikman.

Bradshaw and Unitas should be on there, but I didn't see 'em play.

Aikman was 11-4 in the playoffs with 3 Super Bowls. He wasn't flashy, but he was great.

Ok.

Line up another QB who's stats are better right down the line... Like you just listed them.

... and Brady's not done yet.

Name one with better stats down the line that also has 3 rings. Not gonna happen.

No, no... a monkey could run that offense so I' sure Az will have a long list of QBs he's going to be able to run down. Let's give him a minute

Tony Romo could run that offense.

No wait, I draw the line at a monkey. I take it back.

I hate Brady almost as much as anyone else, but I don't think it's even an argument to even suggest that he has the highest value to his team than other player in the league at the moment given the atrocious talent that they've surrounded him on offense and the injuries up and down the offense and defense.

The Pats without Brady would be likely be a 4-9 team at this point in the season. I'm taking away your wins at Buffalo (23-21), NY (13-10) and most definitely NO (30-23), Denver (34-31), Houston (34-31), and Cleveland (27-26) because those are wins that Brady either led unlikely comebacks or you wouldn't have even been in a position to win without him.

Well, well, well. Look who's back in the driver's seat for the one seed in the AFC. Thanks mr. Forehead, we appreciate your cooperation.

Not official yet. They need to win in Miami this weekend.

.... and as much as Miami baaa-lows, the Pats aren't playing up to their usual totally dominant standard.

LOL they would be the worst team in the history of football to have home field in the playoffs. What a joke the AFC is.

**** Denver. Peyton Manning isn't Brady no matter all the idiots yelling "oh my gods look at da statz!!!!".

But, isn't that kind of the definition of "in the driver's seat"? How about "in control of their own destiny." That work better? Either way, it means they control whether or not they get the one seed - they win out, they get it, they don't, they probably won't, that's all I'm saying.

That, and thanks to the great forehead for a cool weather collapse after thinking he proved to everyone that he can play in the cold... Guess he showed us.
