WHOA!!! Sorry!!! You said you hated the Ugg commercial... ok, sorry. My bad... Here you go...

Ahhhh... A nice blanket of fresh snow fell over night. It makes everything look nice... It makes it kinda quiet somehow. The suckling pig is resting nicely in a bath of salt, dark brown sugar and a couple of citrons. Its Friday, work should be light. I see a nice pint or two over lunch. Then on my way home I can pick up a boston butt to make fresh mexican chorizo. I can grab the racks of baby backs to go in the smoker. I can grab the beef tenderloins and the whole prime rib to be carved up into rib eyes.

I hate you.

No, no... I believe it's pronounced 'IN-com-plete pass'. And I haven't looked it up on the interwebs but I was sure the Pats actually won that game. How would they have moved on to the Super Bowl that year if they hadn't???

I know how it was called, all I'm saying is if that isn't a fumble I don't know what is.

The AFC Game is just to decide who will lose the 49ers.

49ers- 30
Giants- 17

Patriots- 27
Ravens- 16(sorry, I hope the Ravens win I just don't see it happening)

I know it is friday but it is a little early to start drinking already. I don't care what happens, there is no way AFC loses to either of those.

Really? You forget the Ravens got the Niners on a short week coming cross country? You forget the Giants already beat New England in New England? The AFC was not nearly as strong as the NFC this year.

Dude....it was 10 years ago...stop living in the past....we've won 3 Superbowls since then, and Oakland has continued to suck.

The Raiders do suck, no argument from a Niner fan. Still while 10 years ago the Patriots lucked into a call that got them to the Super Bowl, 30 years ago this month Montana found Clark to begin an actual dynasty, something the Pats wont ever match.

I got to wait until 3p central then its off to Amsterdam Bar & Hall for "offsite meetings". Lots of Belgium deliciousness awaits me. And nasty $2 Heineken's if desired. Since it's Friday I may indulge in a pot brownie.

lol, keep counting those chickens all the way up till the 49ers defense sends some of the Giants out in the 1st quarter like Pierre Thomas. :mug:

Shhh, go to sleep little Pierre.

See, this is what I don't understand.

Given how they are interpreting the rules this year, how is this not a penalty? What is it about this helmet-to-helmet contact that makes it OK?

I really don't care who won that game, I'm just not sure how this hit was considered legitimate. Seems textbook for the kind of play they're trying to remove from the game (so, you know, ex-players don't become ******* who shoot themselves at age 40).

From the NFL's VP of football operations, "The league isn't going to make head-hit rules apply to running backs, which is good. Once you start legislating there, you'd have to take ball carriers who lower their heads into account. "

Because of that dumb ass "defenseless receiver" tag they always add.

Alas, their menu is full of wordplay. Brownies made in a pot, Hash this bla bla. Full disclosure in case we have any LEOs out there ;) or HR is stalking me.

He was not a defenseless receiver, he was a runner at that point thus no foul.
