Last comment on college but it worked out perfect. Old scenario would have crowned Alabama or more recently AL would have played FL St for the championship. Both got run over by Oregon and Ohio. Proof that the system has been flawed forever

The Alabama vs Ohio State game was far more competitive. Calling it a trouncing is a gross overstatement. Oregon did certainly trounce Florida State though. I thought they were enjoyable games to watch but I must admit, part of the amusing part was watching Oregon with their inevitable yearly choke.
