My opinion is that football is dumb, a bunch of way overpaid people putting on some uniforms and throwing a ball and running and stuff. Wow. No argument from me on which is better or other stuff. They all suck the same.
Of course you would. Your college team in Utah has blue turf. No wait, that's Idaho but same difference.
I agree with you there. I have no idea what the turf color is, or uniform colors, or even what teams are around here, and I dont care. All teams are the same everywhere regardless of turf color or location, thats my pointfootball is a waste of time.
Just doing my part to trash talk![]()

On a fun side note, Bill Bellichick, ****** nozzle to end all ****** nozzles risks the health of the best player on his team in order to once again run up the points.
Bill Belichick said:I think you just keep playing. At some point, there is a point [but] then you only have so many players, so somebody has to play. I think you have to be careful when you are trying to run a team to go up to one guy and say, 'Michael, we're going to leave you in the game because we don't really care about you, but Glenn, we're going to take you out because you're really important.' I don't think that's really a good way to approach a team. I've never done that. I don't think that would be a very successful approach to it...
Football players play football. You tell me which guys are going to get hurt and I'll get them out of there...
I could just hear it now, if someone else is in at wing that wasn't used to playing there on the field-goal team, and a guy came around the edge and dove in there and the holder or kicker got torn up -- 'Why was he in there? Why wouldn't you go with the same guy that's been doing it all game?' We can play that game all game. As long as you know what the results are, you always have the right argument. Players are prepared to play 60 minutes. The game is 60 minutes long. If you can take a guy out, or you want to take a guy out, you can do that. But a guy's got to play.
They're the same people that think every kid should get a trophy and keeping score just hurts self esteem. Makes me want to puke!
This is the dumbest statement. Of all time.
Every single NFL player, current and former, who they've asked this question of... every single one of them, without exception, says that for every coach, it's SOP that the same guys are in for PAT protection without exception, regardless of the score. ESPECIALLY given what the score was, the odds of Gronk - or anyone - getting hurt were so low as to be essentially negligible. I mean, once they went up three scores, should they have wrapped Gronk and Brady in bubble-wrap and put them away until Thursday night? They're football players and they play for sixty minutes, injuries suck but injuries happen, and the only play that's more low-risk than blocking on the PAT in a forty-point win is blocking in the victory formation.
It sucks - trust me, it sucks - but you're a moron if you think that your coach, or ANY coach, would have pulled out any of his players because of a freakin' point-after try, regardless of score. This isn't semi-pro football, where teams have 90-man rosters; the PAT protection unit is the PAT protection unit. Pulling a player out just doesn't happen.
EDIT: Quotes from someone who knows a lot more about football than me, and certainly a ****load more than you...

Careful now. Remember that Moto, Dataz and Hoppy post here. Clearly they have said dumber stuff.
Nordeast is just over compensating because of his obvious QB controversy that appeared last night. Not a good way to head into the second half of the season. Maybe you guys could pick up someone the Pat's released to fill in that spot. HOYER sorry that's Chicago.

I'm not worried about the QB thing as long as it's just a concussion.... more games with Campbell would make for a very long season. My real beef is with the horribly underprepared defense. Holy $hit, every single leak that could be taken advantage of was, and it that cr@p keeps up, they'll be lucky to finish 8-8. Next week is the Vikes, not alotta time to shore $hit up.

NE fans are a touch bunch of panty waists. I have no problem running it up, I just think it's hilarious that your moron star TE broke his arm doing it.
Why is it happening in football? Serious question. You reference rule changes - which one(s)?
That's largely because of the inability for players to police themselves (ie instigator rule), as well as the constant improvements in equipment and padding that make players totally unafraid to hit like a freight train. Kind of ironic that the safety equipment has started to cause a marked decline in actual player safety.

New England who?
