Yeah, that strategy never works. By that, I mean betting on the worse team when you've essentially already lost.

Worse by 1 game. Big friggin deal. I'm willing to risk nothing to gain everything. Sure beats betting on a winner and ensuring a loss.

That may be. I don't generally watch either team. I didn't do any research until Friday and didn't decide to stick with Texas until Monday morning when Sunday's points were tallied.

I mostly remember the Raiders from back in the day when they were awesome. And then for most of 2000s when they sucked. I had no idea they were kicking ass again.

Lions are in 1st place more than halfway through the season, so anything is possible in this league. (Not that I would bet on them for any playoff game...)

I always score best when I make my picks early in the week and don't tinker with them. Set confidence points only if I'm really sure about something...

That's what I do unless I forget. I just got in about 10 minutes before Thursday's game this week. I'm ahead for the season moneywise, so any wins from here on out are gravy. And I'm in the running for the whole season. Kind of surprised since I don't follow football in general, and know little about teams other than Detroit and the NFC North.
